Our Sales Approach

DataOceans, we believe that any solution we present
to our clients should be hard dollar cost
justified. While topics such as strategic advantage
and soft dollar savings are important, they should
be considered in addition to a fiscally justified
solution.
We also
believe that flexibility in how we package and
structure our solutions is important. Ensuring that
our solution packaging is aligned with our clients
desired purchasing method is critical. DataOceans
has three distinct approaches to packaging client
solutions:
While our
main focus is on our Managed Service Offerings, we
offer significant capabilities in Consulting. In
some instances we also offer our products as a
software license sale -- in most cases with
restrictive covenants to ensure our clients'
business objectives are met while protecting the
broader DataOceans target market.
Our Technology
Over the
last 20 years we have lived through the evolution of
software development technology from mainframe
computing to the first push of the commercial use of
PC's, through Mid range computing, client sever
platforms, fat client/thin client, Rapid Application
Development, C++, Java, J2EE,
offshore/onshore/onsite, Linux and open source, to
where we are today, developing SOA solutions on .Net
Platforms exploiting XML for interoperability.
We know
that success depends on our ability to continue to
change as the technology changes and to position

Our Scheduling and Deployment Strategies
Our
approach to everything we do is centered around

from a single-client focus perspective with each
client engagement. We assemble dedicated and
focused teams for each project; teams whose roots
are in high-volume critical transaction processing
and rapid application development and deployment.
While we

recognize how critical proper planning and execution
methodologies are to the success of this approach.
