Larry BuckleyFounder/CEO

As a founding partner of DataOceans, Larry is responsible for managing the vision and overall strategic direction of the company.  Prior to founding DataOceans, Larry founded or co-founded several technology companies, including Technology Investments, ThreeRiversGroup, SourceWorks, and ECWerks. As a serial entrepreneur, Larry focuses on bringing innovative consulting and technology solutions to multiple industry segments. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Larry has held a number of leadership and board positions with various companies. He began his career with IBM where he spent 10 years in Sales and Marketing.  In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and spending time with his family. Larry graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Economics and Computer Applications.

Dave HicksonFounder/CSO

With over 25 years of experience in the industry and as a founder of DataOceans, Dave is responsible for sales, marketing and for aligning DataOceans strategic initiatives and technology offerings with its target market and customer base. Prior to founding DataOceans, Dave co-founded ThreeRiversGroup and ECWerks where he served as VP of eBusiness and the primary interface for the Wall Street investment and analyst community. Before ECWerks, Dave served in a variety of sales and technical roles at IBM and other technology companies. Dave was recruited by IBM at the end of his tenure in the United States Marine Corps. In his spare time, Dave enjoys deep-sea fishing, authoring a book, and time with his family.

Chien HsiungFounder/CTO

As an established .NET leader in the Southeast and a founder of DataOceans, Chien has earned his position as CTO for all architecture and customer deliverable technology solutions for DataOceans. Prior to founding DataOceans, Chien was VP of Technology at Vendesco, Director of Technology for Riskmasters and has held numerous positions at GT-ECRC (Georgia Tech Electronic Commerce Resource Center). Chien graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California (Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering), Georgia Institute of Technology (Master of Science, Computer Aided Engineering), and is a Ph.D. candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology (Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering). In his spare time, he enjoys vacationing with his family.

Randy BealsChief Revenue Officer

Randy is a leading voice in the area of strategic customer communications management. With over 30 years of experience in the banking, insurance, and financial services industries, he has advised some of the nations’ top companies regarding customer communications management strategies, including print and multi-channel delivery. He has authored and participated in white paper studies, participated on a number of expert panels, frequently speaks at industry events, and remains on the leading edge of current strategies to increase adoption of electronic communications. As a thought leader at DataOceans, Randy closely monitors industry trends and influences best practices. Due to his extensive knowledge in the CCM space, his recommendations have resulted in millions of dollars of savings for his clients. Randy graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Marketing and Finance. He enjoys swimming, travelling with his family, and coaching his children’s baseball and swimming teams.

Suzanne BridgersVP of Professional Services

As VP of Professional Services at DataOceans, Suzanne is responsible for all new client implementations. Prior to DataOceans, Suzanne was a director with PRG-Schultz International, a principal consultant with International Systems Consultants and director level positions at healthcare entities on both the physician and hospital sides. Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from the University of Florida, and a Masters in Computer Information Systems from the University of Miami. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.

Michele HawkinsVP of Client Services

As Vice President of Client Services at DataOceans, Michele is responsible for managing the team that provides all client-facing support after implementation. Prior to DataOceans, Michele held various audit and financial management positions within large companies such as Chiquita Brands International and Target Corporation. She managed internal service organizations, providing analytical support to Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations departments. She also worked with Leadership teams to strategize ways to create more efficient processes and improve financials.  Michele received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of California, Irvine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and playing the piano.

Lawrence BuckleyVP Marketing & Business Development

As Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Lawrence is responsible for maintaining the strategic course established by senior leadership with regards to marketing and business development activities. Prior to joining DataOceans, Lawrence worked in management consulting at KPMG for the Customer Strategy and Growth group. In his time at KPMG, Lawrence worked on strategic initiatives for Fortune 50 and SMB clients across industries including CPG, Pharma, Telco, and insurance verticals. Lawrence received his bachelors degree in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
